Six months after his fateful confrontation with the wizard Master Khan, Prince Namor remains missing. His friends have all but given up hope of ever finding him again.

Meanwhile, far to the northwest, a stranger emerges from the woods with no memory of who he is and where he came from. It isn't long before this mysterious stranger gets caught up in a local feud that could mean death.
